iSCSI Optimization

Internet small computer system interface (iSCSI) optimization enables quality-of-service (QoS) treatment for iSCSI storage trac on an

S4048–ON system.

To congure and verify the iSCSI optimization feature, use the following Dell Networking OS commands.

advertise dcbx-app-tlv

Congure DCBX to send iSCSI TLV advertisements.

Syntax

advertise dcbx-app-tlv iscsi

To disable DCBX iSCSI TLV advertisements, use the no advertise dcbx-app-tlv iscsi command.

Defaults Disabled.

Usage Information You can congure iSCSI TLVs to send either globally or on a specied interface. The interface conguration takes

priority over global conguration.
