Sample Configuration: Uplink Failure Detection
The following example shows a sample configuration of UFD on a switch/router in which you configure
as follows.
• Configure uplink-state group 3.
• Add downstream links Tengigabitethernet 1/1, 1/2, 1/5, 1/9, 1/11, and 1/12.
• Configure two downstream links to be disabled if an upstream link fails.
• Add upstream links Tengigabitethernet 1/3 and 1/4.
• Add a text description for the group.
• Verify the configuration with various show commands.
