Configuring FP Blocks for VLAN Parameters
To allocate the number of FP blocks for the various VLAN processes on the system, use the cam-acl-vlan command. To reset the
number of FP blocks to the default, use the no version of this command. By default, 0 groups are allocated for the ACL in VLAN
contentaware processor (VCAP). ACL VLAN groups or CAM optimization is not enabled by default. You also must allocate the slices for
CAM optimization.
1. Allocate the number of FP blocks for VLAN operations.
CONFIGURATION mode
cam-acl-vlan vlanopenflow <0-2>
2. Allocate the number of FP blocks for ACL VLAN optimization.
CONFIGURATION mode
cam-acl-vlan vlanaclopt <0-2>
3. View the number of FP blocks that is allocated for the different VLAN services.

Viewing CAM Usage
View the amount of CAM space available, used, and remaining in each partition (including IPv4Flow and Layer 2 ACL sub- partitions) using
the show cam-usage command in EXEC Privilege mode.
Display Layer 2, Layer 3, ACL, or all CAM usage statistics.
EXCE Privilege mode
show cam usage [acl | router | switch]
The following output shows CAM blocks usage for Layer 2 and Layer 3 ACLs and other processes that use CAM space:
