Conguring Management VRF
You can assign a management interface to a management VRF.

Assign a management port to a
management VRF.

VRF MODE
When Management VRF is congured, the following interface range or interface group commands are disabled:
• ipv6 nd dad — Duplicated Address Detection
• ipv6 nd dns-server — Congure DNS distribution option in RA packets originated by the router
• ipv6 nd hop-limit — Set hop limit advertised in RA and used in IPv6 data packets originated by the router
• ipv6 nd managed-config-flag — Hosts should use DHCP for address cong
• ipv6 nd max-ra-interval — Set IPv6 Max Router Advertisement Interval
• ipv6 nd mtu — Congure MTU advertisements in RA packets
• ipv6 nd other-config-flag — Hosts should use DHCP for non-address cong
• ipv6 nd prefix — Congure IPv6 Routing Prex Advertisement
• ipv6 nd ra-guard — Congure IPv6 ra-guard
• ipv6 nd ra-lifetime — Set IPv6 Router Advertisement Lifetime
• ipv6 nd reachable-time — Set advertised reachability time
• ipv6 nd retrans-timer — Set NS retransmit interval used and advertised in RA
• ipv6 nd suppress-ra — Suppress IPv6 Router Advertisements
• ipv6 ad <ipv6-address> — IPv6 Address Detection
• ipv6 ad autoconfig — IPv6 stateless auto-conguration
• ipv6 address <ipv6-address> — Congure IPv6 address on an interface
NOTE: The command line help still displays relevant details corresponding to each of these commands. However, these
interface range or interface group commands are not supported when Management VRF is congured.
