Assign a name to the VLAN.

Syntax

name vlan-name

To remove the name from the VLAN, use the no name command.

Parameters

vlan-name

Enter up to 32 characters as the name of the VLAN.

Defaults Not configured.

Usage Information To display information about a named VLAN, enter the show vlan command with the name parameter or the

show interfaces description command.

Commands

• interface vlan — configure a VLAN.

• show vlan — display the current VLAN configurations on the switch.

show config

Display the current configuration of the selected VLAN.
