Usage Information
This command turns on BGP soft-reconguration inbound debugging. If no neighbor is specied, debug turns on
for all neighbors.
debug ip bgp updates
Allows you to view information about BGP updates.
Syntax
debug ip bgp [vrf vrf-name] [A.B.C.D | X:X:X:X::X | peer-group peer-group-name]
updates [in | out | prefix-list prefix-list-name]
To disable debugging, use the no debug ip bgp [vrf vrf-name] [A.B.C.D | X:X:X:X::X |
peer-group peer-group-name] updates [in | out | prefix-list prefix-list-name]
command.
Parameters
vrf vrf-name (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword vrf followed by the name of the VRF to view BGP
updates information corresponding to that VRF.
A.B.C.D (OPTIONAL) Enter an IPv4 address of the neighbor.
X:X:X:X::X (OPTIONAL) Enter an IPv6 address.
peer-group peer-
group-name
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword peer-group followed by the name of the peer group.
in (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword in to view only BGP updates received from neighbors.
