Users Guide
1 Locally dene a system administrator user role.This will give you access to login with full permissions even if
network connectivity to remote authentication servers is not available.
2 Congure login authentication on the console. This ensures that all users are properly identied through
authentication no matter the access point
3 Specify an authentication method (RADIUS, TACACS+, or Local).
4 Specify authorization method (RADIUS, TACACS+ or Local).
5 Verify the conguration has been applied to the console or VTY line.

enable
Enter EXEC Privilege mode or any other privilege level congured. After entering this command, you may need to enter a password.
Syntax
enable [level]
Parameters
level (OPTIONAL) Enter a number for a privilege level of Dell Networking OS. The range is
from 0 to 15.

Usage Information Users entering EXEC Privilege mode or any other congured privilege level can access conguration commands. To
protect against unauthorized access, use the enable password command to congure a password for the
enable command at a specic privilege level. If no privilege level is specied, the default is privilege level 15.
