Users Guide
To remove a domain name from DNS list, use the no ip domain-list [vrf vrf-name] name
command.
Parameters
vrf vrf-name (Optional) Enter the key word vrf and then the name of the VRF to add a domain name
to the DNS list corresponding to that VRF.
name Enter the name of the domain to be appended to the DNS list corresponding to the VRF.
Defaults None

Usage Information Use this command to add domain names to the DNS lists corresponding to a specific VRF. You can add up to a
maximum of six domain names to the DNS list corresponding to a VRF. This domain is used to complete the
unqualified host names.
Example
Dell(conf)# ip domain-list vrf jay dell.com
Dell(conf)# ip domain-list vrf jay force10.com
ip host
Configures a mapping between the host name server and the IP address for a specific VRF. This mapping information is used by the name-
to-IP address table to resolve host names.
Syntax
ip host [vrf vrf-name] name ip-address
To undo the host name server to IP address mapping for VRFs, use the no ip host [vrf vrf-name]
name ip-address command.
Parameters
vrf vrf-name (Optional) Enter the key word vrf and then the name of the VRF to configure the name
server to IP address mapping for that VRF.
name Enter the name od the host to be associated with an IP address.
ip-address Enter the IP address of the name server in dotted decimal format.
