Usage Information You can use the both command to migrate from VRRPv2 to VRRPv3. When you set the VRRP protocol version
to both, the switch sends only VRRPv3 advertisements but can receive either VRRPv2 or VRRPv3 packets. To
migrate an IPv4 VRRP group from VRRPv2 to VRRPv3:
1 Set the switches with the lowest priority to both.
2 Set the switch with the highest priority to version 3.
3 Set all the switches from both to version 3.
NOTE: Do not run VRRP version 2 and version 3 in the same group for an extended period of time.
Example
Dell(conf-if-gi-1/1-vrid-100)# version ?

3 VRRPv3
both Interoperable, send VRRPv3 receive both
