ipv6 nd dad attempts
To perform duplicate address detection (DAD) on an interface, congure the number of neighbor solicitation messages that are sent.
Syntax
ipv6 nd dad attempts {number of attempts}
To restore the default value, use the no ipv6 nd dad attempts command.
Parameters
number of attempts Enter the number of attempts to be made to detect a duplicate address. The range
is from 0 to 15. Setting the value to 0 disables DAD on the interface.
Default 3 attempts
