Usage Information
You can only congure one domain name with the ip domain-name command. To congure more than
one domain name, congure the ip domain-list command up to six times.
To enable dynamic resolution of hosts, use the following steps:
• specify a domain name server with the ip name-server command
• enable DNS with the ip domain-lookup command
To view current bindings, use the show hosts command.

ip helper-address
Specify the address of a DHCP server so that DHCP broadcast messages can be forwarded when the DHCP server is not on the
same subnet as the client.
Syntax
ip helper-address ip-address
To remove a DHCP server address, use the no ip helper-address command.
Parameters
ip-address Enter an IP address in dotted decimal format (A.B.C.D).
Defaults Not congured.
