Usage Information Queriers normally send some queries when a leave message is received prior to deleting a group from the
membership database. There may be situations when you require a fast deletion of a group. When you
enable IGMP fast leave processing, the switch removes an interface from the multicast group as soon as it
detects an IGMP version 2 leave message on the interface.

Usage Information
On the C-Series and S-Series, unregistered multicast data trac drops when you disable ooding; they do
not forward the packets to multicast router ports. On the C-Series and S-Series, in order to disable Layer 2
multicast ooding, disable Layer 3 multicast (no ip multicast-routing).
