Usage Information It is possible to congure multiple import conditions per VRF depending on the exporting VRF.
The export-target and import-target support only the match protocol and match prex-list options. Other
options that are congured in the route-maps are ignored.
Related Commands ip route-export – exports routes to another VRF.
ipv6 route-export
Enables route leaking between VRFs. This command exports or shares IPv6 routes corresponding to one VRF with other nondefault
VRFs.
Syntax
ipv6 route-export tag [route-map-name]
Parameters
route-export Enter the keywords route-export to leak or share routes between VRFs.
tag Enter a tag (ASN number) as the export route target to expose routes to other
VRFs. This tag acts as an identier for exported routes. Use this identier while
importing these routes into another nondefault VRF.
route-map-name (Optional) Enter the name of the route-map to lter the exported routes. You can
leak global routes to be made available to VRFs. As the global RTM usually contains
a large pool of routes, when the destination VRF imports global routes, these
routes are duplicated into the VRF's RTM. As a result, it is mandatory to use route-
maps to lter out leaked routes while sharing global routes with VRFs.
