Usage Information Multiple logging servers of both IPv4 and/or IPv6 can be congured.
Related Commands
logging on — enables the logging asynchronously to logging buer, console, Syslog server, and terminal
lines.
logging trap — enables logging to the Syslog server based on severity.
logging buered
Enable logging and specify which messages are logged to an internal buer. By default, all messages are logged to the internal buer.
Syntax
logging buffered [level] [size]
To return to the default values, use the default logging buffered command.
To disable logging stored to an internal buer, use the no logging buffered command.
Parameters
level (OPTIONAL) Indicate a value from 0 to 7 or enter one of the following equivalent
words: emergencies, alerts, critical, errors, warnings,
notifications, informational, or debugging. The default is 7 or
debugging.
size (OPTIONAL) Indicate the size, in bytes, of the logging buer. The number of
messages buered depends on the size of each message. The range is from 40960
to 524288. The default is 40960 bytes.
Defaults level = 7; size = 40960 bytes
