snmp-server enable traps
Enable SNMP traps.
Syntax
snmp-server enable traps [notification-type] [notification-option]
To disable traps, use the no snmp-server enable traps [notification-type]
[notification-option] command.
Parameters
notication-type Enter the type of notication from the following list:
• bgp — Notication of changes in the BGP process.
• config — Notication of changes to the startup or running conguration.
• ecfm — Notication of changes to ECFM.
• ecmp — Enable an ECMP trap to notify of ECMP or link bundle trac
imbalances.
• envmon — For Dell Networking device notications when an environmental
threshold is exceeded.
• isis — Notication of intermediate service traps.
• lacp — Notication of changes.
• snmp — Notication of RFC 1157 traps.
• stp — Notication of a state change in the spanning tree protocol (RFC
1493).
• vlt — Notication of virtual link trunking.
• vrrp — Notication of a state change in a VRRP group.
• xstp — Notication of a state change in MSTP (802.1s), RSTP (802.1w), and
PVST+.
