Policy-Based QoS Commands
Policy-based trac classication is handled with class maps. These maps classify unicast trac into one of eight classes in S-Series
or eight classes in case of S6000. Dell Networking OS enables you to match multiple class maps and specify multiple match criteria.
Policy-based QoS is not supported on logical interfaces, such as port-channels, VLANS, or loopbacks.
bandwidth-percentage
Assign a percentage of weight to the class/queue.

Syntax
bandwidth-percentage percentage
To remove the bandwidth percentage, use the no bandwidth-percentage command.
Parameters
percentage Enter the percentage assignment of bandwidth to the class/queue. The range is
from 1 to 100% (granularity 1%).

Usage Information
The unit of bandwidth percentage is 1%. If the sum of the bandwidth percentages given to all eight classes
exceeds 100%, the bandwidth percentage automatically scales down to 100%.
Related Commands qos-policy-output — creates a QoS output policy.
class-map
Create/access a class map. Class maps dierentiate trac so that you can apply separate quality-of-service policies to each class.
