Item Description
Checksum Displays the Fletcher checksum of the LSA’s complete contents.
Length Displays the length in bytes of the LSA.
Opaque Type Displays the Opaque type eld (the rst 8 bits of the Link State ID).
Opaque ID Displays the Opaque type-specic ID (the remaining 24 bits of the Link State ID).

Syntax
show ip ospf process-id database opaque-as [link-state-id] [adv-router ip-
address]
Parameters
process-id Enter the OSPF Process ID to show a specic process. If no Process ID is entered,
command applies only to the rst OSPF process.
link-state-id (OPTIONAL) Specify LSA ID in dotted decimal format. The LSA ID value depends
on the LSA type, and it can be one of the following:
the network’s IP address for Type 3 LSAs or Type 5 LSAs
the router’s OSPF router ID for Type 1 LSAs or Type 4 LSAs
the default destination (0.0.0.0) for Type 5 LSAs
adv-router ip-
address
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keywords adv-router and the ip-address to display only
the LSA information about that router.
