fsck ash
Checks the ash le system for errors.
Syntax
fsck {flash: | usbflash:}
Parameters
ash:
For a directory on the internal Flash, enter flash:// directory name.
usbash:
For a directory on the external USB ash, enter usbflash:// directory name.
Defaults None

Usage Information Include the colon (:) when entering this command. This command checks the specied ash memory for errors. If
errors are found, the command recommends that you format the ash.
CAUTION: If you elect to format the ash, all les – including the startup conguration le – are lost. If
you do decide to format the specied ash, consider saving the running conguration as the startup
conguration after formatting the ash (use the write memory command or copy running-
config startup-config command).
