fsck ash
Checks the ash le system for errors.
Syntax
fsck {flash: | usbflash:}
Parameters
ash:
For a directory on the internal Flash, enter flash:// directory name.
usbash:
For a directory on the external USB ash, enter usbflash:// directory name.
Defaults None

Usage Information Include the colon (:) when entering this command. This command checks the specied ash memory for errors. If
errors are found, the command recommends that you format the ash.
CAUTION: If you elect to format the ash, all les – including the startup conguration le – are lost. If
you do decide to format the specied ash, consider saving the running conguration as the startup
conguration after formatting the ash (use the write memory command or copy running-
config startup-config command).
