Parameters
vrf vrf-name (Optional) Enter the keyword vrf and then the name of the VRF through which the host
address can be reached.
ip-address Enter an IP address through which the host address can be reached.
Default Disabled.

Usage Information
Use this command on the interfaces where the DHCP clients are connected to forward the packets from clients to
DHCP server and vice-versa.
Example
Dell(conf-if-gi-1/12)# ip helper-address vrf jay 10.0.0.2
ipv6 helper-address
Congures the ipv6 DHCP helper addresses without VRF.
Syntax
[no] ipv6 helper-address ipv6-address
To delete the ipv6 helper address, use the [no] ipv6 helper-address ipv6-address command.
