Command History

Usage Information
Change the maximum LSP lifetime with this command. The maximum LSP lifetime must always be greater
than the LSP refresh interval.
The seconds parameter enables the router to keep LSPs for the specied length of time. If the value is
higher, the overhead is reduced on slower-speed links.
Related Commands lsp-refresh-interval — sets the link-state packet (LSP) refresh interval.
maximum-paths
Allows you to congure the maximum number of equal cost paths allowed in a routing table.
NOTE: Enables you to congure a single system wide value that is common for both IPv4 and IPv6 addresses.
Syntax
maximum-paths number
To return to the default values, use the no maximum-paths command.
Parameters
number Enter a number as the maximum number of parallel paths an IP routing installs in a
routing table. The range is from 1 to 64. The default is 4.
