Congure IPv6 EUI64 address conguration on the interface.
Syntax
ipv6 address {ipv6-address prefix-length} eui64
To disable IPv6 EUI64 address autoconguration, use the no ipv6 address {ipv6-address
prefix-length} eui64 command.
Parameters
ipv6-address prex-
length
Enter the IPv6 prex in the x:x:x:x::x format then the prex length in the /x format.
The range is from /0 to /128.
NOTE: The :: notation species successive hexadecimal elds of zeros.

Usage Information This command allows you to create an EUI64 address based on the specied prex and MAC address only.
Prexes may be congured on the interface using the ipv6 nd prefix command without creating an
EUI64 address.
