Usage Information The MED is a 4-byte unsigned integer value and the default behavior is to assume a missing MED as
4294967295. This command causes a missing MED to be treated as 0. During path selection, paths with a
lower MED are preferred over paths with a higher MED.
bgp bestpath router-id ignore
Do not compare router-id information for external paths during best path selection.
Syntax
bgp bestpath router-id ignore
To return to the default selection, use the no bgp bestpath router-id ignore command.
