Field Description
Forward Address Identies the address of the forwarding router. Data trac is forwarded to this
router. If the forwarding address is 0.0.0.0, data trac is forwarded to the
originating router.
External Route Tag Displays the 32-bit eld attached to each external route. The OSPF protocol does
not use this eld, but you can use the eld for external route management.

Syntax
show ip ospf [process-id] database network [link-state-id] [adv-router ip-
address]
Parameters
process-id Enter the OSPF Process ID to show a specic process. If no Process ID is entered,
command applies only to the rst OSPF process.
link-state-id (OPTIONAL) Specify LSA ID in dotted decimal format. The LSA ID value depends
on the LSA type, and it can be one of the following:
