Configuring LLPF
Use the following commands to configure LLPF settings. Most of these
protocols (other than CDP and UDLD) are obsolete and may cause excessive
CPU usage.
Command Purpose
configure Enter global configuration mode.
interface
interface
Enter interface configuration mode for the specified
interface. The
interface
variable includes the interface type
and number, for example tengigabitethernet 1/0/3.
A range of interfaces can be specified using the interface
range command. For example, interface range
tengigabitethernet 1/0/8-12 configures interfaces 8, 9, 10,
11, and 12.

Use the appropriate keyword, or combination of keywords
to block any (or all) of the following PDUs on the
interface:
CDP — Cisco Discovery Protocol
VTP — VLAN Trunking Protocol
DTP — Dynamic Trunking Protocol
UDLD — Unidirectional Link Detection
PAgP — Port Aggregation Protocol
SSTP — Secure Socket Tunneling Protocol

CTRL + Z Exit to Privileged Exec mode.
