configure
The configure Privileged EXEC mode command enters the Global
Configuration mode.
Syntax
configure [ terminal ]
Parameters
terminal—Enter the Global Configuration mode with or without the
keyword terminal.
Command Mode
Privileged EXEC mode
Example
The following example enters Global Configuration mode.
console# configure
exit (Configuration)
The exit command exits any mode and brings the user to the next higher
mode in the CLI mode hierarchy.
