Management applications for Shared PERC 8
card
The Dell Chassis Management Controller (CMC) allows you to:
• Congure the shared RAID system
• Create and manage multiple disk groups
• Control and monitor multiple RAID systems
• Enable LKM on Shared PERC
• Provide online maintenance through a web interface or Command Line Interface (CLI)
NOTE: Dell OpenManage Storage Management, BIOS Conguration Utility (Ctrl+L), or Unied Extensible Firmware Interface
(UEFI) RAID Conguration Utility does not support the Shared PERC 8 and may only be used to manage nonshared PERC cards.
