1 Lift the expansion card latch out of the slot.
2 Hold the card by its edges, and align the card edge connector with the card connector on the system board.
3 Align the expansion card bracket with the metal stando on the chassis.
4 Insert the card edge connector into the card connector until the card is fully seated.
5 Close the expansion card latch.
CAUTION
: Applying pressure on the heat sink or battery while seating the Shared PERC 8 External card may cause damage
to the card. Use only the touch points to seat the card.
