CLI Script for Receiving Time from an SNTP Server
The following is a sample script that configures receiving system time from an
SNTP server.
Logs
The Logs feature enables the switch to keep several, independent logs. Each
log is a set of entries that record system events.
It contains the following topics:

console(config)#clock source sntp Set the source of time as
an SNTP server.
console(config)#sntp client poll timer 6 Set polling time to 6
seconds.
console(config)#sntp unicast client
enable
Enable accepting time
from predefined Unicast
clients.
console(config)#sntp unicast client poll Enable polling predefined
Unicast clients.
console(config)#sntp server 10.4.1.3
poll
Define the server that will
be used as an SNTP
server.
console(config)#exit
console# show sntp configuration
Display SNTP settings.
console# show sntp status Display SNTP servers.
