GARP Timers
To enable a GARP timer on an interface:

Click
Switching
>
GARP
>
GARP Timers
in the tree view to open the
GARP Timers: Summary
page.
The GARP timers are displayed.

Edit
.

Select an interface, and enter the fields:
GARP Join Timer (10 - 2147483640)
— Enter the time, in
milliseconds, during which Protocol Data Units (PDU) are
transmitted.
GARP Leave Timer (10 - 2147483640
) — Enter the time interval, in
milliseconds, which the device waits before leaving its GARP state.
Leave time is activated by a Leave All Time message sent/received,
and cancelled by the Join message received. Leave time must be
greater than or equal to three times the join time.
GARP Leave All Timer (10 - 2147483640)
— Enter time interval, in
milliseconds, which all devices wait before leaving the GARP state.
The leave all time must be greater than the leave time

whether GVRP and dynamic VLAN
creation are enabled, and which ports
are running GVRP.
