Configuring Protected Ports Using CLI Commands
The following table summarizes the CLI commands for configuring
protected ports.
The following is an example of the CLI commands:

Isolates Unicast, Multicast, and Broadcast
traffic on a port at Layer 2 from other
protected ports on the same switch.
Use the no form of this command to
disable protection on the port.
switchport community

Associates a protected port with a
community
Use the no form of this command to
return to default.
show interfaces protected-
ports [interface-id |
detailed]
Displays protected ports configuration.
