The following is an example of the CLI commands:
Notification Filter
Notification filters determine the type of SNMP notifications that are sent to
the management station, based on the OID of the notification to be sent.
Each OID is linked to a device feature or a feature aspect.
SNMP notification filters provide the following services:
• Identification of management trap targets
•Trap filtering
• Selection of trap generation parameters
• Access control checks
After creating a notification filter, attach it to a notification recipient in the
SNMPv1,2 Notification Recipients pages.
To add a notification filter:

Notification Filter
in the tree view to display
the
Notification Filter: Summary
page.

The OIDs of the selected filter are displayed.

If required, the notification filter type can be changed by selecting one of
the following options:

Excluded
— OID traps or informs will not be sent.
–
Included
— OID traps or informs will be sent.

To add a new notification filter, click
Add
.

In addition to the fields described in the
Summary
page, enter the fields:
–
Filter Name (1-30 Characters)
— Enter the notification filter name.

New Object Identifier Tree
— Check to specify the device feature
OID included or excluded in the selected SNMP view.

Select from List
— Select the device feature OID by using the
Up
and
Down
buttons to scroll through a list of all device OIDs.
