144 Configuring System Information
The following is an example of CLI commands:
Access Control
For ease of use, users may be assigned to groups. In this way, it is possible to
assign feature access rights to an entire group, instead of assigning them
individually to users. Users are created in the User Security Model pages.
Groups can be defined in any version of SNMP, but only SNMPv3 groups can
be assigned authentication methods.
To add an SNMP group, and assign it access control privileges:

Access Control
in the tree view to display the
Access Control: Summary
page.
Previously-defined groups are displayed.

To add a new group, click
Add
, and enter the fields:

Group Name (1-30 Characters)
— Enter a group name.

Security Model
— Select the SNMP version of the group.

Security Level
— Select the security level attached to the group.
Security levels apply to SNMPv3 only. The possible options are:

No Authentication
— Neither authentication nor the privacy
security levels are assigned to the group.
