124 Configuring System Information

The following is an example of the CLI commands:
Enable Password
To set a local password to control access to Normal and Privilege levels
activities.

Click
System
>
Management Security
>
Enable Password
in the tree
view to display the
Enable Password
page.

Enter the fields:

Select Enable Access Level
— Select the access level to associate with
the enable password. The lowest user access level is
1
and
15
is the
highest user access level. Users with access level 15 are Privileged
Users, and only they can access and use the Network Administrator.

Password (0-159 characters)
— Enter the enable password.
–
Confirm Password
— Confirm the password.
–
Expiry Date
— If Aging is selected, displays the expiration date of the
enable password.
–
Lockout Status
— Displays the number of failed authentication
attempts since the user last logged in successfully (if the
Enable
Login Attempts
checkbox is selected in the
Password Management
page.) Specifies
LOCKOUT
, when the user account is locked.
–
Reactivate Suspended User
— Check to reactivate the specified user’s
access rights. Access rights can be suspended after unsuccessfully
attempting to login.
