User Guidelines
When the
ipv6-address
or
ipv6-prefix
/
prefix-length
argument is specified, a
longest match lookup is performed from the routing table and only route
information for that address or network is displayed. Only the information
matching the criteria specified in the command syntax is displayed. For
example, when the
interface-id
argument is specified, only the specified
interface-specific routes are displayed.
When the detail keyword is specified, the reason why the route is not valid is
displayed for invalid direct or fully specified routes.

Example 1. The following is sample output from the show ipv6 static
command without specified options:
