User Guidelines
Each port can advertise one IP address.
Example
The following example sets the LLDP management address advertisement
mode to automatic on te0/2.
console(config)# interface te0/2
console(config-if)#
lldp management-address automatic
lldp notifications
Use the lldp notifications Interface (Ethernet) Configuration mode
command to enable/disable sending LLDP notifications on an interface. Use
the no form of this command to restore the default configuration.
Syntax
lldp notifications {enable | disable}
no lldp notifications
Parameters
• enable —Enables sending LLDP notifications.
•
disable —Disables sending LLDP notifications.
Default Configuration
Disabled.
Command Mode
Interface (Ethernet) Configuration mode
Example
The following example enables sending LLDP notifications on te0/1.
console(config)# interface te0/1
console(config-if)# lldp notifications enable
