User Guidelines
Each port can advertise one IP address.
Example
The following example sets the LLDP management address advertisement
mode to automatic on te0/2.
console(config)#
interface
te0/2
console(config-if)#
lldp management-address
automatic
lldp notifications
Use the lldp notifications Interface (Ethernet) Configuration mode
command to enable/disable sending LLDP notifications on an interface. Use
the no form of this command to restore the default configuration.
Syntax
lldp notifications
{enable | disable}
no lldp notifications
Parameters
enable
—Enables sending LLDP notifications.
disable
—Disables sending LLDP notifications.
Default Configuration
Disabled.
Command Mode
Interface (Ethernet) Configuration mode
Example
The following example enables sending LLDP notifications on te0/1.
console(config)#
interface
te0/1
console(config-if)#
lldp notifications
enable
