terminal monitor
Configure the Dell Networking OS to display messages on the monitor/terminal.
Syntax
terminal monitor
To return to default settings, use the no terminal monitor command.

Usage
Information
This command enables XML input mode where you can either cut and paste XML requests or enter the
XML requests line-by-line.
trace route
View the packet path to a specific device.
Syntax
traceroute {host | ip-address}
Parameters
host
Enter the name of device.
ip-address
Enter the IP address of the device in dotted decimal format.
Defaults Timeout = 5 seconds; Probe count = 3; 30 hops max; 40 byte packet size; UDP port = 33434
