Version Description
9.4(0.0) Supported on the FN I/O Aggregator.
9.2(0.0) Introduced on the M I/O Aggregator.
Usage
Information
Queriers normally send some queries when a leave message is received prior to deleting a group from the
membership database. There may be situations when you require a fast deletion of a group. When you
enable IGMP fast leave processing, the switch removes an interface from the multicast group as soon as
it detects an IGMP version 2 leave message on the interface.
ip igmp snooping flood
This command controls the flooding behavior of unregistered multicast data packets. When flooding is disabled, unregistered
multicast data traffic is forwarded to only multicast router ports in a VLAN. If there is no multicast router port in a VLAN,
unregistered multicast data traffic is dropped.
Syntax
ip igmp snooping flood
To disable the flooding, use the no ip igmp snooping flood command.
