Virtual LAN (VLAN) Commands
The following commands configure and monitor virtual local area networks (VLANs). VLANs are a
virtual interface and use many of the same commands as physical interfaces.
You can configure an IP address only on the default VLAN and Layer 3 protocols on a VLAN called
Inter-VLAN routing. FTP, TFTP, ACLs, and SNMP are not supported on a VLAN.
Occasionally, while sending broadcast traffic over multiple Layer 3 VLANs, state of a VLAN
interface may continually switch between Master and Backup.
