Parameters
timezone-name Enter the name of the timezone. You cannot use spaces.
oset Enter one of the following:
• a number from 1 to 23 as the number of hours in addition to universal time
coordinated (UTC) for the timezone.
• a minus sign (-) then a number from 1 to 23 as the number of hours.

Usage Information Coordinated universal time (UTC) is the time standard based on the International Atomic Time standard, commonly
known as Greenwich Mean time. When determining system time, include the dierentiator between UTC and your
local timezone. For example, San Jose, CA is the Pacic Timezone with a UTC oset of -8.
clock update-calendar
Set the switch hardware clock based on the software clock.

clock update-calendar

Usage Information Use this command only if you are sure that the hardware clock is inaccurate and the software clock is correct. You
cannot delete this command (there is not a no form of this command).
Related Commands calendar set— sets the hardware clock.
ntp control-key-passwd
Congure control key password for NTPQ authentication. NTP control key supports encrypted and unencrypted option.
Syntax
ntp control-key-passwd [encryption-type] password
To delete the control key, use the no ntp control-key-passwd [encryption-type] password
command.
