Dynamic Host Conguration Protocol
Dynamic host conguration protocol (DHCP) is an application layer protocol that dynamically assigns IP addresses and other
conguration parameters to network end-stations (hosts) based on conguration policies determined by network administrators.
An Aggregator can operate as a DHCP client. As a DHCP client, the Aggregator requests an IP address from a DHCP server.

Displays DHCP client statistics, including the number of DHCP messages sent and received on an interface.
Syntax
clear ip dhcp client statistics interface type slot/port
Parameters
interface type slot/
port
Clear DHCP client statistics on the specied interface.
For the management interface on the stack-unit, enter the keyword
managementethernet followed by slot/port information. The slot and port
range is 0.
For a VLAN, enter the keyword vlan followed by a number from 1 to 4094.
