Version Description
9.9(0.0) Introduced on the M I/O Aggregator and the FN I/O Aggregator.
Usage Information You can congure up to a maximum of four lossless (PFC) queues. By conguring four lossless queues, you
can congure four dierent priorities and assign a particular priority to each application that your network is
used to process. For example, you can assign a higher priority for time-sensitive applications and a lower
priority for other services, such as le transfers. You can congure the amount of buer space for each
priority and the pause or resume thresholds for the buer. This method of conguration enables you to
manage and administer the behavior of lossless queues.
Example for
Conguration Mode
Dell(conf)# dcb-policy buffer-threshold stack-unit all stack-ports all test

service-class buer shared-threshold-weight
Create a service class and associate the threshold weight of the shared buer with each of the queues per port in the egress
direction.
Syntax
[no] Service-class buffer shared-threshold-weight {[queue0 number] ||
[queue1 number] || [queue2 number] || [queue3 number] || [queue4 number] ||
[queue5 number] || [queue6 number] || [queue7 number]}
Parameters
buer Dene the shared buer settings
shared-threshold-
weight
Specify the weight of a queue for the shared buer space
queue 0 to queue 7 To apply the shared-threshold weight, specify the queue number
number Enter a weight for the queue on the shared buer as a number in the range of 1 to
11.
Default The default threshold weight on the shared buer for each queue is 9. Therefore, each queue can consume
up to 66.67 percent of available shared buer by default.
