Stacking in PMUX Mode
PMUX stacking allows the stacking of two or more IOA units. This allows grouping of multiple units for
high availability. IOA supports a maximum of six stacking units.
NOTE: Prior to configuring the stack-group, ensure the stacking ports are connected and in 40G
native mode.
1. Configure stack groups on all stack units.

2. Reload the stack units.

Configuring a Switch Stack
To configure and bring up a switch stack, follow these steps:
1. Connect the 40GbE ports on the base module of two Aggregators using 40G direct attach or QSFP
fibre cables.
