Install the SAS hard drives in their original locations. See "Installing a Hot-Plug Hard Drive" on
page 74.

Close the system. See "Closing the System" on page 47.

Reconnect the system to its electrical outlet and turn the system on, including any attached
peripherals.
Power Distribution Board (Service-Only Procedure)
Removing the Power Distribution Board
CAUTION: Only trained service technicians are authorized to remove the system cover and access any of the
components inside the system. See your Product Information Guide for complete information about safety
precautions, working inside the computer, and protecting against electrostatic discharge.

Turn off the system and attached peripherals, and disconnect the system from the electrical outlet.

Open the system. See "Opening the System" on page 46.

Remove the power supplies. See "Removing a Power Supply" on page 51.

Remove the system board. See "Removing the System Board" on page 89.

Remove the seven screws. securing the board. See Figure 3-24.

Lift the power distribution board out of the chassis.
