NOTICE: To prevent damaging the processor, do not pry the heat sink off of the
processor.

Remove the processor(s). See "Removing a Processor" on page 133.

If applicable, remove the SAS/SATA backplane. See "Removing the
SAS/SATA Backplane" on page 148.

Carefully route any loose cables away from the edges of the system board.

Remove the system board from the chassis. See Figure 3-44.

Pull and hold the blue system board release pin.

While holding the release pin and the system board touch point, slide
the system board towards the front of the system, and lift the board
out of the chassis.
