User Interface Commands 1781
Command Mode
All command modes. In User EXEC mode, this command behaves identically
with the quit command.

There are no user guidelines for this command.
Example
The following example changes the configuration mode from Interface
Configuration mode to User EXEC mode to the login prompt.
console(config-if-Gi1/0/1)# exit
console(config)# exit
console#exit
console>exit

mode simple
NOTE: The PCM8024-k switch defaults from the factory to the Simple Mode of operation.
Use the mode simple command to select Simple Mode as the start up mode.
To select Normal Mode as the operational mode, use the no form of this
command.
Syntax
mode simple
no mode simple
