You can execute the command before the VLAN is created.
Example
The following example registers the MAC address to the bridge table:
Console(config)#
interface vlan
8
Console(config-if)#
bridge multicast address
01:00:5e:02:02:03
The following example registers the MAC address and adds ports statically.
Console(config)#
interface vlan
8
Console(config-if)#
bridge multicast address
01:00:5e:02:02:03
add

bridge multicast forbidden address
Use the bridge multicast forbidden address Interface Configuration (VLAN)
mode command to forbid adding or removing a specific multicast address to
or from specific ports. Use the no form of this command to restore the default
configuration.
Syntax
bridge multicast forbidden address {
mac-multicast-address
}
{add | remove}
{ethernet
interface-list
| port-channel
port-channel-list
}
no bridge multicast forbidden address {
mac-multicast-address
}
Parameters
•
mac-multicast-address
—Specifies the group MAC multicast address.
•
add
—Forbids adding ports to the group.
•
remove
—Forbids removing ports from the group.
•
ethernet
interface-list
—Specifies a list of Ethernet ports. Separate
nonconsecutive Ethernet ports with a comma and no spaces. Use a hyphen
to designate a range of ports.
