Examples
The following example uses the aaa authentication dot1x default command with no authentication.
dot1x system-auth-control
The dot1x system-auth-control Global Configuration mode command enables 802.1x globally. Use the
no form of this command to disable 802.1x globally.
Syntax
dot1x system-auth-control
no dot1x system-auth-control
This command has no arguments or keywords.
Default Configuration
802.1x globally
disabled.

Global Configuration mode.
User Guidelines
There are no user guidelines for this command.
Examples
The following example enables 802.1x globally.
dot1x port-control
The dot1x port-control Interface Configuration mode command enables manual control of the
authorization state of the port. Use the no form of this command to return to the default setting.
Console (config)# aaa authentication dot1x default none
Console(config)# dot1x system-auth-control
