Configuring GVRP Using CLI Commands
The following table summarizes the equivalent CLI commands for configuring GVRP as displayed in the
GVRP Global Parameters page.
Table 7-32. GVRP Global Parameters CLI Commands
CLI Command Description
gvrp enable (global) Enables GVRP globally.
gvrp enable (interface) Enables GVRP on an interface.
gvrp vlan-creation-forbid Enables or disables dynamic VLAN
creation.
gvrp registration-forbid De-registers all dynamic VLANs, and
prevents dynamic VLAN registration on
the port.
show gvrp configuration [ethernet
interface| port-channel port-channel-
number]
Displays GVRP configuration information,
including timer values, whether GVRP and
dynamic VLAN creation is enabled, and
which ports are running GVRP.
show gvrp error-statistics [ethernet
interface| port-channel port-channel-
number]
Displays GVRP error statistics.
show gvrp statistics [ethernet
interface| port-channel port-channel-
number]
Displays GVRP statistics.
clear gvrp statistics [ethernet
interface| port-channel port-channel-
number]
Clears all the GVRP statistics information.
