User Guidelines
There are no user guidelines for this command. However, specifying 0 as the port number will
effectively disable HTTP access to the device.
Example
The following example shows how the http port number is configured to 100.
ip http exec-timeout
The ip http exec-timeout Global Configuration mode command sets the interval the system waits for
user input before automatically loging off. Use the no form of this command to return to default.
Syntax
ip http exec-timeout
minutes

seconds
]
no ip http exec-timeout
Parameters
minutes
— Integer that specifies the number of minutes. (Range: 0 - 65535)
seconds
— Additional time intervals in seconds. (Range: 0 - 59)
Default Configuration
The default configuration is 10 minutes.

User Guidelines
This command also configures the exec-timeout for HTTPS in case the the HTTPS timeout was not
set.To specify no timeout, enter the command
ip https exec-timeout 0 0
.
