ip https server
The ip https server Global Configuration mode command enables configuring the device from a
secured browser. Use the no form of this command to return to the default configuration.
Syntax
• ip https server
• no ip https server
Default Configuration
HTTPS server is disabled.
Command Mode
Global Configuration mode.
User Guidelines
•Use the ip https exec-timeout Global Configuration mode command to generate an HTTPS
certificate.
Example
The following example enables configuring the device from a secured browser.
ip https port
The ip https port Global Configuration mode command specifies the TCP port used by the server
to configure the device through the Web browser. Use the no form of this command to return to the
default configuration.
Syntax
• ip https port port-number
• no ip https port
• port-number — Port number to be used by the HTTPS server. (Range: 1 - 65534)
Default Configuration
The default port number is 443.
Command Mode
Global Configuration mode.
